Sedum spectabile Autumn Joy Autumn Joy is the classic fall blooming Sedum, but ever present for a reason. It is sturdy, and the long lasting blooms give winter interest as well as great fall colour. A must have for a sunny low water, low maintenance garden. Flowers are burgundy Foliage is green Plant is 40 cm wide or about 16 inches. Plant stands  50 cm tall or about 20 inches. Blooms in Aug-Sept SED100

Shear off flowers after bloom. Cut down in spring or fall. Divide tall varieties every 5 years or so, especially if they fall over. In too shady a location plants will reach for sun. Wet locations not ideal, especially in winter. Some creeping varieties may need to be kept in check as they can out-grow their welcome.
