Saturday May 12th 2012   10:00 am - 11:00 am Garden Design A broad look at garden design principles, along with specific tips for problem areas. Ideas for lower maintenance as well as combining perennials to provide continual bloom from April to October. Saturday June 9th 2012   10:00  am - 11:00 am Hosta Gardening and Collecting Tips and tricks for people wanting to start collecting and seasoned collectors, including tips for slug control and Hosta virus X. As well as a look at the ancestors of some of our favorite Hosta  and the techniques used to create new Hosta varieties. Saturday Sept 15th 2012  10:00 am - 11:00 am Fall Maintenance and Bulbs Fall is a good time to asses your garden, make plans for next year and take advantage of the excellent fall planting season. How to put your garden to bed for the winter, tips for easier maintenance as well as a look at the advantages of using certain bulbs in your gardens will be discussed.
