A tall border plant, spectacular in flower with its enormous creamy plumes the size of your head. Elegant lacy leaves form a very dense and bushy clump. This plant demands space. Plant in a moist, peaty soil, or even at the waterside. The miniature variety, Aruncus  aethusifolius has cute small white plumes of flowers, sort of like a small Astilbe. It is a great choice for the front of the garden or maxed with miniature plants.
